Since this scene-capable switch is Z-Wave compatible, you'll be able to control it directly at the switch as well as remotely using a radio-frequency controller, so no new wires need to be run, and you won't have to rely on power lines to get your commands to your lamp. The Vizia RF Z-Wave Programmer/Controller is required for all Vizia RF installations and is sold separately.
