Rain8 - Sprinkler Controller Software

The WGL line of sprinkler controllers all require an external device of some kind to initiate an irrigation sequence or control individual valves. It may be as simple as an X10 Palmpad remote, but in most cases a computer is the best option for easy operation.

We all are familiar the the usual sprinkler controllers and their complex series of keystrokes to change a run time and their very small LCD display. It makes sense to use a computer with it's large monitor and great graphics display to simplify the setup and ongoing control of any size sprinkler system.

To this end, we offer a great software package created for WGL by Golden Crater.

This software supports all types of Rain8 controllers:

 

Features

• Internet based software. Set run times, start times and monitor operation over the Internet. All functions are controllable from any location in the world.
• Control up 256 zones (valves) with 5 independent programs (schedules). Run times from 15 seconds (great for misting) to 4 hours.
• Modify all zones globally with a single control.

Status

Display current status of all named zones as well as manually control each valve.

 

Program

Set run times, start time and day(s) irrigation is schedule. Options include: starting at sunrise or sunset, specific days of week, every 2nd, 3rd or 4th day.

There are five totally separate programs just like this one for maximum flexibility.
