HAI Temperature/Humidity Sensor

  • Automatically keep your home the perfect temperature
  • Prevent frozen pipes by turning up the heat when freezing temperatures are detected
  • Protect artwork, plants and pets from temperature extremes while you're away

Expand the power and scope of OmniLT, Omni II or OmniPro II automation controllers with the ability to detect and respond to temperature changes! Getting started is easy with this complete line of temperature sensors. Use one anywhere you need to monitor or control the temperature, like attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, coolers or in homes with expensive artwork.

Once set up, these temperature sensors allow your Omni family automation controller to display the temperature on the console, or speak it over the telephone (if the controller employs the optional two-way voice communication feature). The controller can also report, log, alert, or generate an alarm if the temperature reaches freeze conditions or if the temperature goes above the high setpoint or drops below the low setpoint programmed in the system.

There's even a model with a built-in humidity sensor that reports outdoor or indoor relative humidity from 0 to 100 percent. High and low humidity limits can be set to prompt the Omni automation to take controller (i.e. automatically turning on the bathroom vent fan, running the air conditioner in de-humidification mode, turning on a humidifier in heating mode, etc.) or reporting high or low humidity conditions. Controlling humidity is particularly helpful in combating the growth of mold in vulnerable areas of the home, such as bathrooms, basements, attics, etc.

Constructed with highly accurate temperature sensors that don't need calibration, these temperature sensors are available for indoor-only or indoor/outdoor use. The outdoor versions are coated with a sealant to withstand outdoor moisture. Choose from five different models, including:
